Chanelle & Glen
Location: Musket Cove
It was a typical, freezing cold Wellington summer day and Glen and Chanelle were at their family beach house. For the first time ever Glen was super keen to go on Chanelle’s favourite Riversdale walk, with puffer jackets zipped up they headed off.
When they got to her favourite lookout where she always stops to take a photo, she turns around and Glen is on one knee! Chanelle was so blown away and of course said YES! But there’s more…they head back to the beach house so excited to share their news. When they get inside both their families and closest friends were all there to celebrate with them. Glen had arranged the whole thing (smooth Glen, smooth). They said it was the best day ever – until their wedding day rolled round, and what a spectacular day it was.
What was the vision for your wedding day?
We chose to get married at Musket Cove so we could not only enjoy the wedding day but have a holiday with our family and friends. We wanted it to be relaxed but also make sure everyone had a great time!
There were two: when we saw each other for the first time as I walked down the aisle and partying the night away with all our friends and family.
What was your favorite part of the planning process?
The last minute decision to book a band! Inside Out were warming up for a wedding a couple of days before ours and we were blown away. We were guttered we had not booked them and thought there was no harm in asking, and just our luck they were available!
What advice do you have for couples planning their Fiji wedding?
In the lead up to the wedding when still in your home country don’t stress about sorting all the little nitty bitty things with your venue and vendors.They are all experts and once you arrive everything comes together perfectly!
What were you looking for that made you approach us?
Friends of ours recommended you. Scoota and Shaz said you guys made their day so easy and relaxing and that’s just what we were after and what we got (VINAKA Scoota & Shaz!)
What would you say to someone who might be on the fence about booking Zoomfiji?
Go for it!!! We are so happy with the service we received and LOVE our photos 💕
