Since 2003 Zoom Fiji has worked on a number of award-winning advertising campaigns, photography and video production throughout Fiji and the rest of the world.
Zoom Fiji has a particular passion for sport and rugby. Bruce Southwick has been involved with rugby since childhood, playing from grassroots to provincial level in New Zealand. Years of playing rugby have equipped Bruce with a keen understanding and ability to anticipate the game, from event coverage to sports documentaries.
It’s these qualities that place him in high demand as a rugby photographer, and have seen Bruce undertake work for World Rugby and HSBC documenting major events such as the Rugby World Cup and the HSBC World Sevens Series.
This passion for rugby turned into a collaboration with HSBC Sport to deliver the award-winning video documentary “Sevens from Heaven”.
The film received a staggering reaction and continues to drive social and editorial coverage across print, online and broadcast media, as well as inspiring future players as part of HSBC’s grassroots initiatives.
The campaign won silver in the Brand Documentary & Sport category in the 2017 Brand Film Festival, and also won silver in the Video category at the International Content Marketing Awards.
The campaign was so successful that in 2018 Zoom Fiji partnered again with HSBC to film and deliver “The Pioneers“.
