Kristina & Paul
Location: Fiji Marriott Resort Momi Bay
Kristina & Paul’s Fiji Mariott Resort Wedding was an absolute dream. It was an honor to capture the joy and love of this very special couple and see all their carefully planned out details come to life after a long wait during Covid. Fiji turned on one of the most stunning sunsets we’ve ever seen and it was the icing on the tropical cake.

How did you meet?
We met in 2013 when I worked at a Café in Sydney and Paul worked as a Tradie ( Landscaper) on a job not far from my work and popped in for coffee on the way to work. Turned out at that stage he didn’t even like coffee but he kept coming back until he had the courage to ask me out 🙂
Do you have any advice for couples planning their day in Fiji?
Do your research. What the hotel recommends might not be the best for you. 50% of what the hotel recommended us I did not end up booking. Go with the flow things will go wrong or turn out to be different but just take it easy and enjoy the ride no need to get frustrated because of little things.
Tell us about your wedding style. (Bride, Groom & Wedding Party)
All we wanted was a beautiful day with life long memories. Fiji was the beautiful location and just perfect for us. We only wanted to get married with the closest friends and family around us. We had a few hick ups with people deciding last minute they wouldn’t want / be able to come but in the end it was perfect. Paul and I are very much about the love the happiness and our family ( which includes friends) and that’s exactly what we wanted to show case on our wedding.
What was your favorite moment of the day?
The anticipation of the actual wedding ceremony and walking down the aisle. The getting ready part and having the beautiful Rani from Totoka Hair and Make up show up, to Zoom Fiji and getting ready photos.
Were there any family or cultural traditions you did for your wedding day?
We had the fire dancesr as part of the Fijian culture/traditions and with me being born and raised in Germany we had our celebrant surprising us with a modeling competition between my dad and Paul as part of the introduction of Paul’s speech.
What were you looking for that made you approach us and choose us over other photographers / cinematographers?
A photographer that can tell a story in this case our love story through pictures and video footage.
The certainty of creating an amazing experience. The fun and love showcased in photos and videos. Putting us and what we wanted first. Zoomfiji are worth every cent. No Fiji time they were early so no need to stress of someone coming late. The passion you guys have for what you do and the ease of letting us forget the cameras. I don’t think anyone could have a bad experience.
What was the response from your family & friends when they saw your images/video?
Just WOW. Mum is back in Germany now and still crying every time she looks at the photos ❤️ The photos put you right back into the moment.
