The High-Flying Proposal That Went Viral
Taken from the Daily Telegraph – “THE mystery behind one of the most romantic proposals of the year has been solved.
Thousands of residents were speculating if “Samantha” said yes after a plane flying over Camden featured the high-flying proposal on Sunday. Facebook was full of excitement as readers wondered if the mid-air declaration of love had worked.
Samantha Croucher confirmed to the Macarthur Chronicle that she was the lucky Samantha and had indeed said “yes”. She said her finance Troy Cartledge had followed the traditional path of asking her father’s permission before he began to craft his one-of-a-kind proposal.
Mr Cartledge organised a family barbecue on Sunday, but no one knew the real reason why he had invited them around. At midday, Ms Croucher said someone mentioned a plane flying overhead, but when she walked outside and saw the banner, she didn’t quite know what was going on. “I think he was surprised by my reaction because I had no idea what was happening,” Ms Croucher said.
As the plane flew overhead, Mr Cartledge played Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud, one of the couple’s favourite songs, and got down on one knee. (read the whole article here)

Our Laid-back, Elegant Fiji Wedding
We saw the Fiji Marriott Momi Bay when it first opened and we knew we wanted scenery like that for our wedding. I wanted something that was laid-back and intimate with elements of elegance and extravagance throughout the day. Troy would’ve happy with a back yard wedding 🙂 but it was important to both of us to have a laid-back wedding with our nearest and dearest.
Why We Chose Zoomfiji
You worry heading to a different country that maybe it won’t meet your expectations. The moment you talk to Bruce Southwick and the team you know you are in good hands. Give the guys at Zoomfiji Photography & Cinematography a call. Had I done that prior to the wedding there would of been no hesitation. What we liked the most was the laid-back vibe the team bought to our wedding with their good sense of humour. Previous work they had done sold it for us.
The Details / Who We Used
Brides gown – Steven Khalil Couture dress. The dress was made from scratch and took twelve months. I was after two completely different looks with my gown which I ended up achieving!
Grooms suit – Custom made Brent Wilson, Sydney. Troy wanted a clean and classic look and also had our two little boys in matching suits.
Bridesmaid dresses – Dollhouse Bridesmaids. All the girls were in different pastel colours.
